About Me

Photography has been part of my life since I was handed a camera at the age of seven. The first photo I took of my brother playing cricket in my grandfather's backyard may have been out of focus and blurry, but I loved it. Since then I have taken photos for my Art elective in the High School Certificate, as our children grew, all the holidays we went on, any special events, at work and whereever I could.

I am married to a super supportive man, raised two incredible children and now watching, with joy, our grandchildren grow. I work full time, cultivating a love of learning in young minds. I enjoy so many different activities that make life enjoyable: gardening, cooking, bushwalking, Four Wheel Driving, camping, quilting and photography.

Just recently I decided to improve the images I produce. To do this I have completed a number of courses through Click Love Grow and at Griffith University. I have entered photos in local competitions, taking out Grand Champion twice at the Inverell Show, 1st place in the 2020 Inverell Art Gallery Photography Competition in the Botanical World images for my Peony, and then Grand Champion in 2021 with The Old Toilet in the Wind.

My ideal situation would be travelling and photographing our adventures and capturing others' stories on the way. In the meantime, I am working and building my portfolio of all the things I capture. I am ready to capture your memories to share with your friends and family.
